Hmm, this looks like the ideal light for my light hungry wife. Only if it always starts on high and if there are no strobes easily triggered. Strobes just trigger her headaches.
Hi Bwolcott, how is the PWM for Med & Low mode ? Noticeable when shine onto spinning fan blades ?
Kinda sensitive to PWM myself, was about to place order for CW version

thank you, I really am impressed with it, it makes many of my other lights obsolete now because of the amount of output it has in such a small size

How does the side switch on/off work? I have a Shadow GF1 and I have to hold the switch down for 1-2 seconds before it turns on or off — I really don’t like that.

heres turbobbs review of it
Shadow has been around for a short while now. I previously picked up two of their older lights (both JM07-Pro's) that while nice, didn't sufficiently stir my inner-flashaholic. I was recently provided with an opportunity to review some of their newer lights that looked pretty interesting so I decided this would be a great chance to have a second look at their offerings. The first up is the SL3, a compact tri-XML light that reminds me of Lumapower's dMini series but in a larger format; 26650-size…
