sharp edges - how to take care of them?

I have a few lights with really sharp edges. Sofirn IF25A - the lanyard hole. Wukkos FC11 - also lanyard hole. What’s a good way to chamfer these edges? I don’t have a ton of tools.

The heat fins cuts are also very sharp on both of these lights. They’re not as likely to cut skin as the lanyard holes, but still not very comfortable. If there’s a good way to add just a big of chamfer on these fins too, that would be nice.

Do you regret getting such budget lights with sharp corners? I almost brought a Emisar D4V2 a few weeks ago, but decided against spending so much on a single light. Now I wonder.

I do like the IF25A with the 4000k tint though. Warm tint, good lumens.

I’m not sure of where you have sharp edges from your description. A pic would be more helpful.
But for a hole a cheap way would be to use 1000 grit sandpaper cut in a small square or circle a bit bigger than the hole and use a pencil eraser to push the sandpaper agaisnt the hole, then spin the pencil around 15 or 20 turns. You might could even use the pencil stuck in a drill to speed things up. Its probably going to sand off your anodizing but will polish off the top edge of a hole smaller than the pencil eraser.
As for other sharp edges, a $10 small file could be used or one of those small cheap file sets from over seas.

They will tend to leave the finish a little rough so a few swipes with the 1000 grit sand paper would smooth those out.

i would use either a small grind stone or a small file such as in a kit of “swiss pattern files” to get into all the nooks and crannies. a good set will last a lifetime and often come in handy.
