Well they win so far for the ugliest batteries I have seen in years. These ones may need to be secured behind steel not aluminum.

I’m about to buy 4x18650s, highdrain unprotected cells for a new VN modded light. Should I get these instead of Samsung 30Qs or VTC5s?

Any better options that are budget friendly?

Stick with the 30q or similar big 4 battery makers. Any other name besides panasonic,lg,sony Samsung etc. Is a rewrap battery. Sometimes it’s a good big 4 rewrap, sometimes it’s a laptop cell, sometimes it’s just complete crap. Now given that shockli is selling the best 26650 right now. But they are buying it from a Chinese battery company plb and rewrapping it. I say avoid this battery because there is only one 3600 mah cell I know about the Panasonic 18650g and it never really made it to market in massive amounts. It can’t be charged over 1 amp and it can’t discharge anywhere near 25 amps

I have a couple of Klarus 3600mAh 18650, they are rewrapped LG's with a protection circuit added.

Also have some Acebeam 3100mAh 18650 they are Samsung 30Q's rewrapped with a protection circuit added.

super high capacity and 25a drain are mutually exclusive.
well as of right now.
its probably a ga.
not saying you cant pull 25a from a ga but it will sag badly ond overheat fast.

I got these FREE from SHOCKLI. I asked him why and he said because the bar code was lost in transit and I am a good customer!!

OFF TOPIC: Any prayers would help. My Mother passed away on Monday and my best friend, CAPO the Siberian Husky has a serious medical condition called,” HEMORRHAGIC GASTROENTERITIS and is in the emergency Vet Hospital since 4 am this morning.Basically vomiting blood and bowl movements containing blood.He will be 8 on 12.26.2018,we just passed the 16K miles on the trail.
