I just found a special shop at Aliexpress, Shenzhen Lanhaite Electronics.
It is already there for 5 years but I never heard about them. They have a large choice of DIY flashlight parts.
Okay, a lot of shops have that - but look at the numbers:
- 100 different alu reflectors (from 13 to 86.2 mm diameter, often available as SMO and OP),
- 137 different optics (mostly glass, up to 108x22 mm plano-convex) or
- 41 different silicone tailcaps.
If you find the same parts in one of the usual shops they will be cheaper there. But I have not seen many of the parts anywhere else.
So if you want to build your own super thrower or just replace a reflector this may be a new place to search for rare stuff.
