So I have a dual channel DW4 I use with a 18350 that I really really like.
But I also have a triple channel DW4K that I’d also really like in something much smaller like an 18350. I just realized that the driver for the DW4K is bigger than the DW4 so just doing a driver swap wont work.
My question:
What would it take to manufacture a custom DW4K 18350 tube or 18350 tube adapter?
Or
Are there any triple channel andruil powered lights around that particular size?
You could ask Hank of he’ll sell you an extra tube and tailcap. Then you could make a short tube by cutting it down and gluing on the tailcap. Since the tailcap goes over the cut body tube, the technique can look fairly professional (though I don’t have the light to visualize how it might look).
I suspect a machine shop would charge more than it’s worth, but wouldn’t hurt to ask.
