Hello to all. Can anyone identify the 90 deg Fenix light shown on link referenced by Sirius9? It appears to be a cr123 form with an interesting headband. I have found no info anywhere on it. All of you are smarter than I am. Please help! Thanks in advance David
Rainbow titanium nitride-coated steel (or titanium) EagleTac D25A? I want one!
I still think the Nitecore CU6 looks really nice too… more than the SRT series. It eliminates the need for separate white and UV lights, plus the color modes might be useful on occasion.
On a totally different note, it’s a little embarrassing seeing TerraLux there. I noticed a model called the TerraLux Colorado, which seems to be a StarryLight SA-22 clone… except it sells for $70 (or even $100) instead of $25. I picked up a catalog of their products once, and it looked like nearly everything inside was a clone of a cheap light sold for several times the price. Many of the specs listed were flat-out impossible. It’s embarrassing because I think the company is based near me.
I think it is a Ti D25C (cr123 type battery) and what they did was anodise the titanium, which will wear off within weeks (I know because I did that to my Ti D25C also). Unless you put it in your curio of course, but for me it was my EDC, in my pocket with keys and pen-knife.
You missed a thread or two. The Terralux is a rebranded Jetbeam PA40. Not even close to the StarryLight SA-22. Also it generally retails for $45-60
