Yes, you read that right. The Surefire Annihilator comes in at 4000 lumens. It will feature a rechargeable system with variable output to save on the battery draw when the blinding light is not needed.
Holy cr*p looks like it maybe a single emitter
I’ll post more lights as I read about them, just figured I’d start the ball rolling
I follow ShotShow online, as a Canadian I think it’d be hard to get in.
I follow it on twitter and whatever sites I can. If you see it first please post
Probably important on the Surefire side to remember that just because there’s a named prototype at SHOT show doesn’t mean it will ever be available for sale. The same goes for the annual catalog. The first link gives a bit of a disclaimer.
Wow,crazy lineup for surefire and they finally decided to enter the lumens race. The only possibility for a 4k lumen emitter would be luminus CSM-360 but that's my best guess.Annihilator looks cool but im sure the pricetag is waaaaay out there,I wonder if this was Paul Kim's last contribution to Surefire.Too rich for my blood... edit CX beat me to the punch on emitter!
Best bet I can think of 6k lumens spec’ed max output could give you around the 4k rated out the front lumens. Even the Cree MT-G isn’t in the ballpark of 4000 OTF.
