I'm feeling guilty. I'm concerned that I'm part of the sudden onslaught of group buys. My sincere apologies. I think it's gotten way out of hand.
I think all the bots are finding the words "group buy" and all the dealers are smelling a possible big sale, so we have become inundated. I, for one feel bad about it. It has to really hurt the wallets around here. I will refrain from doing it for a while.

I have been able to resist the siren call of all the recent sweet lights… until these group buys appeared. :~
There’s nothing wrong with saving some money for fellow BLF, either way they’re getting a new light with your help or not… it’s just a lot cheaper and makes sense with group buy 
I wished there was a lot of group buy when I started hoarding collecting all those flashlights ( actually there’s wallbuys and their crazy 50% off deal and hourseckills)
I could save tons of money and get more lights instead 
Unfortunately some of these group buy are not so budget friendly aka less than $20

I am going to stop spending so much…and focus on onsies custom builds and whatnot…unless the “just gotta have it” group buy pops up
I’m tired of all the chinese sellers flooding in here and hawking their wares…it’s one thing for us to find the deals and bring em back here…it’s another when they descend upon us and “I have great deal, you wanna buy” us to death.
Either way…in the process of buying a house, getting it moved, and all that so my “budget” is going to be tapped out for a bit

I've been buying lots of kitchens here lately. Has anyone else jumped on the band wagon? I'm glad I joined up for this reason only. Do you need a kitchen OL? I have one for sale in my new thread. I managed to grab a few of those kitchens too. D*rn difficult to get hold of those great deals btw, the posts are always gone within a minute of appearance. I have turned the hallway into a kitchen, and the bathroom as well, I'm thinking of turning the garden into a kitchen now, I'm in for your group buy MRsDNF!

BLF, GBF, or maybe even IBF..... "I'm Broke Forum" lol. Anyways, me and my fiance had back to back birthdays this past week, and are also in the process of moving and buying a new house as well, so looks like my BLF "budget" this past month has exceeded "welllllll pasttttttttt" what I set aside.
Sucks when their are many tempting lights to buy at good prices, not sure what to do. All these lights on top of all the other things I buy from Dealnews and Fatwallet, something needs to give, lol. I just spent over $5k this past month in things I really didn't need. Sighhh.........
I'm thinking I might have an online shopping addiction, and don't want to admit it to myself. Wondering how many other people here are in denial as well.

It doesn’t take too long on the board to start telling the difference between manufacturer backed marketing hype and a real deal.
When the good deals are abundant? That’s just a character building grand test of the will….

I like group buys, but the best ones for me are GB's that make desirable lights that are too expensive for me affordable. A 14 dollar light for 10 dollar is not really something I am enthousiastic for unless it was coincidentally a light I was planning to buy anyway.
I've almost reached PP dispute deadline for the first kitchen I bought here.... they keep promising that any day a team of professional installers will be knocking on my door to start the renovations. I hope nothing in the re-design plans have been lost in translation :bigsmile:
But seriously, even though there have been a lot of GB's recently, I think that it's an opportunity for some of the newer members to pick up a deal on a popular product, which will be probably be modded & well documented if it's a flashlight.
...It may even steer them away from buying random junk as well.

Group buys are great in my opinion. Any one is FREE to join or NOT join one. Ultimately, nothing is being forced on you, you like a thread about a GB, you check it out. Else, you pass

I organized the spark GB and terminator GB to help us all get cool stuff at a lower price. There is no other incentive for me besides what everyone else in the GB gets
