You’re right, there is a battery shop at the basement level of Sim Lim Tower (where the escalators are), but I’m not sure if they have li-ion 26650s. I know they have bare Panasonic 18650s though.

Somewhere around S$15 if I remember correctly. But when I was there two weeks back they only had 3 or 4 unprotected 2900mAH cells left. The lady at the shop told me the 3100mAH cells are incoming, but couldn’t tell me an ETA.
