first time that i see a Sipik branded torch with 3-modes. it should be easy to ask Sipik Co. if they released the color models, and if they released them with different drivers or just the 3-mode driver. if they released it with 3-mode drivers only, then the meritline cant be but the 3-mode version.
interesting.
EDIT: sent an e-mail to Sipik Co. inquiring about the legitimacy of the meritline offer. let's see what Sipik says.
Dont want to sound like a party pooper, but take a look at Meritlines pictures - you can clearly see that theres practically no ano on those flashlights, thus the paint will wear off pretty easily, black should be better in that regard, no?
Not that black might have better paint work quality, but its less frustrating to have scratches on black than gree/red/blue IMO.
I’ve had about 8 sipik lights …and I think they are all junk …three sk68’s a 58 and hr22? hr21?? side clicky cr123/AA and the 18650 version…All of them have serious flaws and overall are poorly made lights …I wondered if the weren’t made from the same factory as small sun and tank …IMHO the tanks are excellent products and small sun and sipik are lame .If sipik is better than small sun it’s just barely . spend the extra few bucks and get a tank, rominsen or edi-t…hate to be a basher but they are really pretty bad .
I just got my shipping notice by email. No tracking number. The wait begins.
I ordered something from Meritline a couple of weeks ago and got a similar shipping notice email 12 days ago. This package should arrive in the next week and be a barometer on when these colored Sipiks arrive.
These two orders are my only time dealing with Meritline.
Well, Id be rather more concerned regarding wear of paint job on these colored Sipiks, it will be more obvious on these than on silver/black one.
The rest isnt much of a problem IMO. If you feed them with AA and not 14500 then its the switch that will wear out just like on many other cheapo lights.
