Skilhunt EC200s mini w Red, First Impressions

The Skilhunt EC200s mini Red is a great little light with dual channel Nichia plus Red.

The user interface is really easy to use. Can be as easy as clic on, clic off, to the last used main output. There are also two moonlight modes, plus 4 Red output levels. There are also Turbo and Strobe outputs. Very full featured UI, and great regulated output with no PWM.

The built in charging is very convenient and works well. There is also a tailmagnet that is a great functionality feature. It allows me to place the light on metal surfaces for hands free use.

Here is some Opple data showing a very low Flicker Index and a very steady lux output with no PWM. This is the 519a data:

The Red light is also regulated and has NoPWM:

Recommended as a great little Total Package, no need to carry a separate charger, and no need to remove the battery to recharge. The power button also acts as a battery strength indicator, showing Red when low and Blue when full.

Size comparisons, EC200s mini Red, TS10, D3AA:

This is a great little light. Recommended!

A couple of thoughts on LED mods…

  1. I may not dedome the 4500K, because they are in individual small reflectors, that may not work well w dedomed
  2. Im tempted to swap the 630nm Red, to 660nm…

Great to hear the positive feedback! I think my next purchase is going to be the EC200.
Love my M150 just wish it had more lumens- The D3AA output in the M150 body would be an end all for me! Great clip, A+ fidgit factor!

It seems that marketing is slowly moving towards small multi-channel flashlights after producing billions single channel in all sizes
