OK, understand, thanks.
Also for single channel, UI is less complex. I would think the EC200 driver could just be retrofit to H200.
In my opinion, single channel should always be first base offering. I have a suspicion, if you guys made Mix-7 with 21700 + 7 519A(s) as a single channel light, it would sell like hot cakes. It’s only competition would be the Fireflylite E07x Pro (and maybe the Emisar DT8).
If multiple channels are involved, I would personally prefer flood vs flow.
The only non-white color I ever use is red, for escaping bug attacks.
Also hoping you guys will do a plain EC300 (519A) and “EC300S-Red”
witch Carclo frosted optics (strange you don’t use them) the beam pattern is very clean and has a smooth transition from spot to spill
@SKILHUNT have you considered opening a “semi-custom” shop? You guys have lots of great ideas, and are stocking a lot of emitters and lights with multiple channels … but once this flexibility is offered it might be hard satisfying the typical buyer. It’s like offering clothing in the “average size” which fits nobody lol.
Some things I would buy that you don’t offer currently:
- EC200 519A 5700K single channel
- EC200S-Red 519A 5700K
- H200 519A 5700K single channel
- H200 519A 5700K + 1 SST-20 DR
- Mix-“2” 21700 with 4 x 519A and 3 x SST-20 DR
- Mix-“2” 21700 with 6 x 519A and 1 x SST-20 DR center frosted
- Mix-“1” 21700 with 7 x 519A single channel
- Mix-“1” 21700 with 7 x SST-20 DR
- EC300 with 4 x 519A single channel
- EC300 with 3 x 519A and 1 SST20-DR
With each of these, I would probably order one with a plain TIR (25°) and one with frosted / beaded TIR. All without tailcap magnets.
Also customizing the optics (flood, normal, spot) would be great. This probably requires using a name-brand TIR supplier like Gaggione / LEDiL / Carclo so we could do that after purchase too.
JetBeam used to sell a plastic bezel removal tool which makes it easy to swap optics etc.
Regarding CCTs, without offering every single one, 3000K, 4500K, and 5000K or greater would be nice rounded collection. Some emitters like B35AM are even available in 6500K R9080. Long gone are the days we were stuck to warm CCTs for high CRI.
I’m sure people would buy all kinds of stuff. Some innovation required in supply chain and easy menus on website.
I’d gladly pay an extra $20 for a “custom” order.
Thank you for your feedback and suggestions. I will pass your comments on to the relevant team members. We appreciate your input and are always looking for ways to improve our products.
@SKILHUNT I would like to suggest improvements to the shipping process to the US.
After placing my last order, I received an email with a 13-digit tracking number beginning with “2” and a link to 17track.
17track was unable to recognize the provided tracking number, so I had no idea what system to search in. I experimented with other sites and eventually found that YunExpress was able to find the skilhunt provided tracking number, and map that to the origin YT (YunTrack) ID that could be searched.
In this case, the last mile provider was Pigglyship, and does not provide network updates until they receive the package, so even if you know the last mile carrier is pigglyship, and search their site, the tracking code is useless for the first half the journey.
I would like to see skilhunt use USPS as last mile delivery in the US, their in network tracking events are very granular (so you know what is going on). Since most of us get mail every day, it is likely we have a relationship with our mailman, and they know how / where to deliver the package. When I had issues with UniUni (package sitting in my town for weeks) I was unable to get support.
My recommendations specifically:
- provide name of origin shipper / link to correct system to search for
- provide the origin shipper’s tracking #. The origin shipper should create and provide the last mile tracking ID. That ID is used for more granular results once in the destination country.
- use USPS for last mile delivery in the US
Similar experience for me for all my 3 orders so far (In Thailand). No tracking data for China’s journey but it did recognize last mile provider just fine. (Kerry Express was great)
Thank you for your feedback. Most of the shipments in the United States are diverted to USPS for the final delivery, but a few areas are diverted to other logistics companies. Sorry! This is a third-party cooperative logistics company. We can only choose a better way when possible.
@SKILHUNT on the MiX-7 Gen 2 UI, is it possible to switch into UV Group without resetting my RGB Color Group level?
For example, I typically use R1 or R2. However, when I switch to UV the red level gets reset to R4.
Thank you very much for your feedback. I will forward to our related department.

@SKILHUNT did you change the ui on the ec200s, ec200s red flashlight? in the new version, the turbo on the additional LED is turned on separately by double click???
are there any other changes in the ec200s series?
This control scheme is very different from the one on my copy, @SKILHUNT please write a comment and a new control scheme
EC200S has only one version of UI, which has Not changed.
Sorry, but you are wrong! I definitely have 2 versions of different interfaces! one of them looks like this:
It’s very strange that the manufacturer does not know about such changes)))
We sincerely apologize for the oversight and any confusion it may have caused. After reconfirming with our team, we can confirm that there are indeed two versions of the UI. Following the release of the first version, we received valuable feedback from some users, which led us to make minor adjustments and introduce a second UI version in July. The new UI as below,
For your reference, the user manual includes images that show the correct UI for each version, which should help clarify the differences.
These changes were subtle, and as such, we did not formally label it as a new version. This is why the information was not updated on our website in a timely manner, and we regret any inconvenience this may have caused.
Thank you for your understanding and for giving us the opportunity to clarify this matter.
We appreciate your support and patience.
Thank you! Now your answer looks like the truth! now all new ec200 and ec200(red) are sold with new ui?
are there any changes for the uv version?
@SKILHUNT it would be nice to see the brightness table for the new ui
