The Skyrc MC3000 is a complicated charger.
Please share your experiences with default and user settings.
Subscribed and a weekend bump, it would be interesting to see other folks settings.
My two most used settings:
For charging 18650
C current: 1.5A
Target voltage: 4.20V
Termination: 100mA
For testing 18650 capacity:
Mode: cycle
C current: 1A
D current: 500mA
C/D resting: 15min
Cycle: 1
Cycle mode: C-D-C
Target: 4.20V
Termination: 50mA
D target: 2.50V
D reduce: 30mA
My only default setting are the eneloop ones… And for lithium I have about 10 custom settings, very similar to those above with changes in current and termination for different size batteries.
I usually don’t use my MC3000 unless to check the health or capacity of the cell… I find my Xtar VP2 way more convenient.
Agree its not a convenient charger.
I bought mine so I could health check and revive hi capacity nimh.
Alows me to match cells that have similar capacity.
This is all to feed my Yamaha THR10 guitar amplifer.
I know… Its not a flashlight but I couldnt find a forum specific to recharging and battery life so here I am:)
Anyway… My settings for high cap eneloop 2450mah:
Mode: refresh
Battery type: nimh
Capacity: off
Charge: 1A
Discharge : .5
C Rest: 20
D Rest: 5
Cycle : CDC
Cut time : off
Cut volt : .9
Dv : 2mv
Do you have safe settings for Eneloop BK-3MCCE ?
I don’t have enough experience with MC3000 and I’m not sure how to program this charger for them.
