I have big lights and I have medium lights but my small lights a lacking looking for some recommendations. I don’t have a cr123/16430 light but doesn’t have to be that battery. Small wise my smallest but mighty one is the astrolux E01. Thanks for any suggestions
Just HOW SMALL dooya wanna go, Joe? Post #4……
I think more along the cr123 size I have AA sizes and AAA sizes, I have TUP on order I have the tip and the olight keychain, a fenix e12, olight s15, astrolux e01 which so far I would say is my best small but mighty light but want other options.
Geez. Hardly anyone at BLF wants to tinker and truly mod BUDGET stuff anymore. Just spend lotsa money fer big blasters that heat up too much and suck down too many amps. Butt I hear where yer coming frum.

roughly the same size as your E01 is the emisar D4 with a 18350 tube.
Before that was my EDC, it was a olight S1R, todays version claims 1000 lumens. Proprietary battery though.
My smallest, bright light is the Rovyvon Aurora A3.
It's not that cheap, however.

Orcatorch EA01
It’s a AAA but surprisingly bright.

Have OTR m3pro with 16340. This gets pretty bright and does not break the bank. A d4 with 18350 is shorter and even brighter.
I like 14500 a lot. Wuben e05 being my latest addition.
Then there’s a the folomov c1 ghat appeared on reddit yesterday with 10440 batteries, that seems quite nice.
An S2+ with a shorty tube can be nice. Uses an 18350 instead of a 16340, but for the miniscule increase in size you get way more oomf (capacity and current).

An S2+ triple with an 18350 tube. Keepower 18350 battery will deliver around 14A. That’s still stupidly bright and really rather ridiculous considering its size. Just don’t mention the battery life

Hard to beat shorty Emisar D4….unless with a modded one.
At smaller size I really don’t see anything interesting all the way down until Rovyvon Aurora.
I’d like to add Nitecore Tini to the list. There a lot of stuff that I don’t like about it (including the fact that mine died after a couple of months) but performance-to-size is truly outstanding.
