Do you guys use the glass lens or you remove it when converting the S2+ and the EE X6 to triple ?
I don’t use glass in any of my convoy triple builds, but you need a thicker o-ring to secure the triple optic in place. Stock oring is too thin and small in diameter and doesn’t provide a proper seal.
When I get home will update to let you know the oring size that worked for me. got them from oring-store.
I have just ordered the parts for my first triple build and I was kinda wondering the same thing. Please do update the o-ring dimensions, did not want to use glass unless I had to.

For the A6 I wouldn’t use it.
For convoys I always keep the glass because I like to really crank the brass pill down into the head, and I’ve had the carclo optics deform under the pressure.
I have AR glass for my S2+ that will get the triple treatment. Also, that would maybe make for a better fit with flat top unprotected cells.
I always use the lense.
I use the lens. I haven’t ever built anything with a triple bigger than the S2+ though.
There is a point to be made about spacing. What cells are you using? what size spacer are you using? does it all match up? the glass lens and adding an extra copper board are items that can be used to customize the fit and heat sininking if needed.

1.5mm x 19mm (cross section x internal diam.) is the oring I use for bare optic triple builds.
The fitment is really tight, in fact the overall diameter of the oring is a tad larger than the internal diameter of the head but this is the only way the oring does not pop out undr pressure while providing complete seal. You could try 18 and 18.5mm as well if you’re going to use a glass. Stock orings of the convoy S2+ isn’t great by any means, bruna N-70 orings are dirt cheap and are much higher quality.
