The light arrived today in some bubble wrap and with a lanyard. The lens is plastic and comes allready mildly scratched. The light pulls about 0.9 amps from each battery. The light output is shallow and the beam is a bit ugly. The tint is coolwhite. It has 5 modes with no memory (arg! even single mode is better then this crap). I will try to dismantle it and see if it can be modded to something better. Anodising is a mediocre HA 2 quality. Workmanship seems ok, no burrs no nicks. The two parts of the housing match flush (not crucked not twisted). The two battery tubes are threaded into the upper housing and the bracket is slideed on and holds just with the tailcaps. Well I modded it with an ordinary clicky and a 2800 mA driver. I just cleaned off the stuff on the original board, made a cut out for the clicky and put the driver on top of the original board which is acually huge. Done.
