I just took a bunch of beamshots with the 85watt HID flashlight, TN31, and Crelant 7G5 collimator head since it snowed here in southeast MO. I figured these ought to look good. Now I bumped my shutter speed up to 2 sec on all of these just to see how they looked. I’ll post them in a bit. I think I got some good ones.

Brad, I would be taking beamshots now but it's sleeting. (Also wind gusts of 50 mph) I promise I will get out to take them eventually, once the damn weather lets up.
We got hit by Blizzard 2012 last week. 15 inches right in my front yard!
I got 21 photos coming. I’m gonna be wore out.

Brad, it's pretty easy to calculate distance. You just use google maps.

Or house for that matters. Your talking a long way off on some of those HID photos.
Now tell me a 85 watt HID don’t have spill like a TK70. And man does this baby throw. Those 4300K bulbs are awesome.

I have a triple XM-L, but it’s not a thrower.
I’ll go take some photos of the YEZL 85watt 6000K cool white bulb. I think you will see that the 4300K bulb will beat it.

Camera ended up going to the f/4.5 and I couldn’t make it any lower. Don’t know why that is.
