I’ve had 2 7G5’s and both have acted up with with sticky modes or tailcap issues. I know Rick told me his Crelant 7G5 V2 has done the same thing twice now. Anyone else having the same exact problems with Crelant? I heard another guy on here saying his would stick in strobe mode. Seems Crelant has been sending out quite a few faulty lights. I have had 2 and both were bad. And now I’m hearing of others as well. I wonder how many bad ones they let go out. Maybe they ought to fix their bad ones with replacements.
Initially I had problems with my Crelant 7G5 V2 stuck in modes and turning off randomly. Fortunately it happened right from the very beginning and I got a replacement LED module and tail switch which solved the issue. It has been working just fine ever since.
Well I have been told that Crelant is in fact aware of the mode issues. So these aren’t the only ones that were bad. And even the 7G5V2’s apparently have issues.
I am the other guy who has problems with his 7G5.
I contacted hank from intl-outdoor and he told me to send the LED-Module back to him so they can fix it.
When i turned my crelant on for the first time, i switched through the modes and it stucked in strobe mode. I did not know what to do, so i softly knocked on the head of the light. Suddenly the beam was less bright and had a blue colour. I dont know what happend that day, but it never turned blue again since then.
You would think that Hank would have sent me a good one after the first bad one I had. But I guess not.
Anybody else having issues with Crelant?
I think they need to get these issues fixed once and for all before they do anything else. I know I’m leary of buying any more Crelant lights if this is what I’m going to get in return.
Another guy has came forth and said this at CPF.
I have mates with the 7G3 and they have no end of troubles with them as well.
Too many bugs in Crelant junk.
I will stick to my Stanley HID, Thrunite TN31, Olight SR90, Olight SR51, Olight M3X and Dereelight DBS-T Aspherical EZ900 to throw and I have never had one ounce of trouble from any of them.
It was one on top of my to buy list since I want to add more budget throwers. But stop now after seeing many modes problem.
They are still having them too. Even on the 7G5 V2 models apparently are having the same issues as the first version. Like I said I can’t recommend Crelant to anyone.
I wonder how many of the 2nd version are having these same type mode issues?
Mines been fine since day one. Although hearing all these reports makes me nervous to rely on it

Yes,7G5V2 is what I was getting not the 1st version. But looking forward to others now such as FF STL-V6 or STL-V2 or even TF 3T6
You should have just stuck with your M3X and never looked back. lol

And the M3X will throw so dang close to any 7G5 out there without all the trouble.
