Because I have so many Q8’s and good diffusers for them I never bought the original BLF lantern and only very recently picked up an Lt1S because they were $22 on an Ali- express sale .
The last few days we are having a power outage and so the lantern is in play .
Suddenly I’m looking closer at lights I normally don’t pay attention to and the tint comes into play .
Just for fun I broke out a sheet of minus 1/8th and minus 1/4 green filter and both helped the tint on these lanterns . Neither filter made the tint go rosey at all and they both made the tint better . Remember this is a tint ramping lantern already but the filters just add more red and less green no matter where in the ramp you are .
Now I just need to figure out how to cut the filter to the shape of the lantern .
If anyone has one of these lanterns and filters laying around I suggest wrapping the filter around the light and see what you think .

Measure inside diameter at the top and bottom. Then use an (online) tool to calculate the unrolled cone.
