I think we are saying the same thing–)
Hold on, the preference seems to be Nichia 519A? 5000K is good, especially if the bezel is screw fit. Then people who want warmer can pick the dome off.
Not really, no Buck + Anduril version has existed before. If they launch the new driver only in copper and keep all alu models on the FET drivers it would be quite annoying.
They definitely will not port over the whole lineup, as bucks cost more and the average Amazon shopper doesn’t care.
This custom model is given priority to senior BLF enthusiasts and will only be produced in small batches
519A is of course OK, but I need more unified opinions
We are re-customizing it for some hobbyists. Using copper is just a good choice.
Great, count me in …
+1
This really sounds like a special light, not for the mass. You can count on my support to buy one, as long as it has a buck driver and an high CRI led and a lighted switch. Otherwise, I’ll stick to my SC21 PRO as an almost perfect EDC.
There are 3 votes for it here already, it’s a really popular emitter.
The SFT40 will create a pretty impressive mini thrower if that’s what people want.
Oh yeah
looks nice barry
I vote for the copper lantern! (I will buy copper, titanium and brass). Add the option to choose between FFL351a and Cree Hpl-hi LEDs, as we are already tired of the greenery of Nichia 519a LEDs.
No offense but you must be overdosing on pink to see the 519a as green.
Yes
Please make a metal button as well.
We will consider it
I don’t want to sound like a broken record but this switch is way too easy to activate by accident. It needs a raised ring around it. I understand you can electronically lock it but why not avoid accidental turn-on from it’s biggest weakness ?
