Interesting. The blue v2 is pictured with a SMO reflector, but the description says it has an OP reflector. The black is pictured with an OP reflector.

I had all versions, V2 is hopeless, I do not recommend it…

One 14500 was discharged to 2.2V

I got my today (finally!).
I use only AA, so can’t comment on 14500, but starting with low (5lm) instead of eco (0.5lm) is a big disappointment. :person_facepalming:
One needs to click (slowly) 4 times to get to Eco mode. Unfortunately 4 quick continuous clicks turns flashlight to lock-out.

I have previous version as well and it’s perfect EDC :heart_eyes: , as it starts - according to manual - with Moonlight (1lm) witch to me looks more like 0.5lm or even less.
Now I’m wondering who in my family or among my friends will be the victim and is going to get it from me as a gift. :innocent:

So I received v2.0 today. After one hour playing with it, the light fell on the ground - and was dead :person_facepalming:
One single ( and first one) fall on the ground! :rage: Unbelievable…

Seems to be a pattern. Check your LED . Mine came off without dropping it . Good news, Sofirn stands behind their product. Give them a message.

V 2.0 is crap… Lower output than v1( only about 170 lm with AA), the head is glued :person_facepalming: , and my copy died after single drop on the floor…

Yeah, I feel like the v2 is a big step backwards. The prior driver version had a better UI. Ideally they’d use it and just add another mode between moonlight and the old low.

That’s correct. No memory and moonlight is the last mode accessed. Those two things kill this light for me. I really never use it.

I got one of these, and it just doesn’t feel substantial. So lightweight and cheap feeling. Unimpressive.

I was seriously considering buying this light (I like the lights size and style), but lack of mode memory, and questionable reliability (when dropped or hit heavily?) has changed my intentions. Definitely will not get this light.

It’s crazy how so many expect a high end flashlight and pay so little. If you want something built incredibly well then pay more!

I have since changed my tune about memory mode. It’s perfect for lights that have shortcuts to moonlight and turbo and it helps “fix” wonky UIs like Tool AA’s default medium, otherwise it’s almost as annoying as NMM and I never use it.

This has a feature to hide high mode if the battery is almost dead but moonlight gets hidden as well because comes right after high mode. I can’t wait for the Anduril version.
