Guys, I need some help, hopefully some of you already played with this one.
I have an SP33 ver 2, I’m looking for way to remove a driver (without using a drill, or, like, a shotgun).
There were some reviews here, on BLFf, but the only disassembly was done to ver 1, it included some info about counter-clockwise thread and heating up so that the adhesive would let go, but none of this stuff works. Trying from the LED side also doesn’t work, actually, it looks like the shelf is integrated into the body of the host.
I have had luck removing Sofirn drivers by pushing the led wires inside the driver cavity. That leaves you with 2 holes, through which I have used some thin screwdriver against outer rim of the driver, carefully feeling that there isn’t any components. Then all is needed are some sharp taps to the screwdriver. How you deliver them, is up to you.
