Sofirn SP33S - 6V or 12V MCPCB?

Morning all.

Now, I have a Sofirn SP33S on the way, along with a pair of XHP70.3 HI emitters from Kaidomain. I know the XHP70.x and XHP50.x series can run in either 6V or 12V configurations (3V for some XHP50.x’s), so I purchased some XHP70.3’s knowing that they would be a direct swap for the 6500K XHP70.2 that’s in the SP33S. What I was wanting to know is:

Does anyone know if the SP33S has the emitter wired up in a 6V or 12V configuration? If it’s 12V, a GT-FC40 swap might be possible, and I would certainly like more FC40 goodness, but if it’s 6V I’ll stick to the XHP70.3. An XHP35.2 HI would be a cool swap if it’s a 12V light.

Thanks!

It’s 6V given the current figures measured by Haukkeli

Ahhh thank you! Looks like it’ll be an XHP70.3 HI light after all. Quite looking forward to seeing what these .3 emitters from Cree are like. I didn’t much care for the fried egg look of the XHP50.2 and XHP70.2
