I like the balance and pacing of your reply.
(It helps soften the fact that I wasn’t lucky enough to get a code.)

Is it also possible to get an code for Ali express? (For the sp36 kit)

I run my 36 at the default top of ramp setting. I’m assuming it it in the 4000 lumen range or so at 80%. It doesn’t get uncomfortably hot. Is that what other are experiencing also? Also, does the anduril 36 suppose to have a factory reset procedure ?

Just measured my BLF Anduril version in my uncalibrated TA Lumen Tube using Sony VT6 cells.
2100 at top of ramp. 4300 max.

Can you run it there non stop without over heating? Thanks for the help.

Looks like I need to calibrate the temperature settings in my light.
With freshly charged cells-
start= 2200
1 minute= 1800
2 minutes= 1600
3 minutes= 1350
4 minutes= 1100
5 minutes= 790
6 minutes= 480
7 minutes= 180
8 minutes= 120
9 minutes= 120
10 minutes= 120
At this point I held the button and ramped back up to 2150.
Max temperature was 98.5 degrees at 5 minute mark. It went down after that.
Battery voltage after this was 4.1V.

Thanks TT. I forgot setting 120 out of 150 is not 80% of max. 2000 lumens explains why the SP 36 doesn’t over heat. It always surprises me how if you ramp down only slightly from turbo with a Emisar D4 or any ramping hot rod , the thermal step down is way less aggressive.

My temperature calibration was way off. It was reading 32C and should have been 20C. I fixed that and set max temp to 60c.
Now the light output stays at max ramp instead of dropping rapidly, but it gets too hot to comfortably hold. I shut it down at 126F.
After it cools off, I will adjust the max temp to a more comfortable level and see where the light output stabilizes.

My cells aren’t the greatest and the outdoor temperature here is pretty cold usually.

Code for Ali express is not here.
