I recently purchased a Sofirn SP40 after reading others reviews on the product hence I don’t think a further review by me adds anything to the mix. What I can say is that I am impressed with the light, both the quality and efficiency at a great price. I have a number of Olights against which to compare and I can honestly say I won’t purchase any more. I am not a ‘collector’ so all the various ‘limited editions’ are of no interest to me and whilst the packaging of the Olight is very good I don’t wish to pay for something which has no impact on the efficiency of the actual product. I have used the light for a while now prior to writing this post and I’m as happy now as when I first bought it.
Please note, I am not slating Olight as I really like them but I genuinely believe they are very overpriced when compared to the value and quality of the Sofirn, and so impressed I purchased the Sofirn c8f two days ago and will report back. Many thanks to all those members who provided the in-depth reviews which helped me change my brand.
This one have same “efficiency” like SP40 , but much lighter and cost half price

Btw, I’m also owner of a SP40 that I enjoy as reading light.
I use mine as a daytime reading light too, 3000k with a diffuser film makes it really cozy, the runtime is excellent too.
