Remember that Olight sells a heck of a lot of lights in the cool to cold spectrum! I also wonder if people shop with certain specs in mind (MORE LUMENS!) and that’s what drives some companies to spec the CW emitters.

That’s the reason I have only one Olight and I don’t think I will ever buy one again.

Isn’t it fairly easy to swap the led to whatever color you want?

I was goofing around with some junk leds so I decided to swap their mcpcb. I used my cheap hot air station. It was much easier than I thought. Now I can do reflows.

Press fitted Tir in the S1 mini HCRI. X3 ruined his driver at disassemble.
UI and Lamp is nice, but a LED swap is hard.

EDIT : The simplest way of doing it is to drill in the optic and light the bezel with a tiny flat screwdriver. The optic will be ruined, but you can swap it with any 17mm optic from Yajiamei on Aliexpress. Everything else will be saved, so don’t think twice about it.
