Sofirn SP70 side switch failure .... ??

Has anyone here had Sofirn SP70 side switch failure ?

Mine just arrived on Saturday, tail switch works perfectly
Tail switch on … Side switch turns light off instead of cycling modes.
Tail switch on, side switch does not activate ramping mode , six quick clicks does nothing.

After pressing side switch dozens of times, I would randomly get a different mode - but 9 times out of 10, it would just shut off the light - even with tail switch still on.

Any ideas for remedy ??

It could either be the side switch or the driver. Best to email support and hopefully get a second unit sent. Then you can try and fix this unit.

Double click doesn’t jump to turbo either? I use to sell them, but no longer remember the UI

If I fiddle with the side switch dozens of times, I can randomly get to high mode, then a dbl click DOES go to turbo.
After I shut down the tail switch, it all goes down the drain again.

Sofirn is sending a replacement.
