I just have to mention that it is hard for me to believe the great customer service that Tracy from Sofirn has given me. I had a job like Tracy’s, sales/service/support liaison in a technical industry and then managed a large group so maybe it’s something I notice but I wasn’t really expecting this.
I am a new, small customer and have had many (newb) product questions and Tracy has always responded. He has responded quickly, within a business day or two in a courteous, friendly and knowledgeable way regarding my questions. He could have easily ignored me, responded occasionally or in some other way put me off.
I don’t know if this is the norm with the other manufacturers and I don’t have the experience to vouch for Sofirn’s quality but I’ll probably look at his products first because I know he will answer my questions.
One thing to keep in mind, companies know that people are “gentler” with female customer support. So please do not create an image in your mind of a nice, gentle female. It could be a 90 year old guy named Biff……or a Chinese version of Biff.
That’s funny, I just assumed “Tracy” was a guy and his Mandarin name is somewhat similar. Probably Zoe and Tracy are the same person or maybe a bunch of people. “Tracy” seems to be a consistent person and I just thought (he/she/both) was doing a good job.
