I bought one of those sofrin SP31v3 519a off of amazon, k8nd of like it except they glued the tailcap on.. Why? Anyway at about 10-11 months it is all wonky. I press the tailswitch get a green light and then the weirdness starts multiple presses on the side switch really cant get it to work. Tried to contact Sofrin, just crickets no response..
Anyone have any Ideas?

Yes, I have like 250 18650s Ive rescued from laptop battery packs, Ive owned fenix, multiple convoys, built and modded a few from parts from the dude at mountain electronics, I think the driver has a bad solder joint.. I really should repair my BLF A-6 that flaked out after 5 or so year.. Thanks for the suggestion, I wish I knew more about how the sofrin comes apart I hate to tear in to it while it might be a potental warranty.. but I guess there is really no warranty from them..
-There are others that reported it also on Amazon from the same seller, I know I haven’t been around in awhile but my first led light was a fenix L2D and I had the p2d extension and tail cap to mod it that was back in the candlepower forum days before blf that those were AA lights with a 123a conversion (p2d) before 18650s became mainstream.. Maybe 2007?
