Sofrin P10 Pro - Unprotected cells?

The post is pretty simple: can I use unprotected 14500 cells in my Sofrin P10 Pro (all 7 of them)?

I would prefer to run unprotected like I do in my D4v2 lights.

Yes you can, but make sure they are button top not flat top.
