Solarforce l2e

New light from solarforce. Looks like a neat clip on it. Will definitely be a good light to have kicking around for walking or working on stuff.

I see this as a good garage light.

Wow it actually does look quite nice from the pictures.

I wonder what parts if any Lego with the L2 series?

Looks top heavy

I wonder how well it will handle the heat of a tripple xpl

The magnetic head will be of limited use imho - it should have been in the tail (but of course the switch messed up that option). It means that the actual light will be tight against the surface it is attached to.

It's a P60 drop-in host WOW! I wonder how well the drop in fits in the head for heat sinking purposes.

That could be a plus for some applications, where a very close-to-surface light source is desirable.

I think this host is very cool and I’ll be getting a couple.

Yay I have wanted a P60 drop in right angle light for a while.
Any ideas how much it is??
Any idea if the L2 battery tubes fit??

I think the L2 tube will fit, beacsue this is one of the main features of Solarforce - you can change tube, head or switches between all L2 familar flashlights.

looks quite good, did anyone do a review of this product, would love to learn more.

Really like the look of this.

Available yet? If yes, where to buy?

This flashlight is not available until now. I wrote a message to Jo and asked, when it will be availabel and about the price range. If I receive the answer I will post it here.

It looks to big to be a headlamp, how would you use this? I guess I don’t understand right angle lights that aren’t headlamps

Clip it to belt, molle attachments, cap, shirts etc… For improvised hands free lighting.
Stand it on surface to light what you are working on (work light use).
Attach it to metal surfaces such as car’s roof.
Also, more comfortable to hold in hand for standard use without strain unlike regulars “straight” lights.

It sure has its perks as an utility light, angle head is practical indeed.

The full floodlight lens would be perfect on this.

Yep! That is why I already ordered two of those lenses while waiting for the L2E hosts to become available!

Nice, a p60 angle head light! It appears that the battery tubes are compatible too.I wonder when this will be available?
