Solarforce M3 loose threads on bezel?

Just received an M3 head from Solarforce this week. Was playing around with it today and noticed that it has an extremely sloppy fit between the head and bezel. When snugged down taping the bezel the right way will actually cause it to pop loose a few threads. No signs of cross threading on bezel or head.

Anyone else noticed a problem like this? Just wanted to check and make sure its not common before I try contacting customer support.

Yep, sloppy thread pitch fitment and does the glass fall thru the bezel with out the o-ring still? Had mine fall out too many times! Junk, nice box though!

Don't know about the lens falling through the bezel, haven't forgotten to install that o-ring yet.

Several wraps of plumber's tape made the fit livable. Now to figure out some upgrades.

Similar thing happened to me with a Ultrafire 502B, the front bit that holds in the drop-in has very loose threads. Plumber’s tape helped & also a few turns of electrical insulation tape on the outside makes it usable.
I guess the quality control of a lot of Chinese factories is passed on to the end-user

Usually the lens is bigger than the hole in the bezel- so it shouldn’t fall out at ALL!
