Hi all
I have a Solarforce M3, I do like it.
But it’s a tight beam thrower. More then I thought it would be.
It’s getting some mods done to it, almost twice the lumen, better heat-sinking.
Thinking of getting a Solarforce K3.
From what I read it’s a good combo thrower/floody beam.
Both will be run on the L2-D18 body with two Panasonic 18650 Protected 3400mAh
Looking for opinions from someone that has compared both.

I have both on a L2-D18 body with Panasonics. M3 throws well the K3 almost throws as well with a lot more spill. I like and use both almost weekly.
i have a k3 that never worked. the head would heat up when the light was turned on but no power to the led. they sent a new one that works perfect. i modded the old one with a new led and board, but it did the exact same thing. i’m interested in getting the m3 next because of the throwiness and compactness. i’ll post with my comparison when i pick it up if you don’t beat me to it
I have both and would say if you are looking for more spill you will pleased with the K3. It is one of my favorite lights outdoors, I really like the tint.
It can be driven harder, but stock I still think it’s a great light.
