Solarforce T1

That looks sweet, I’m tempted. Also their mode set looks far more believable:

Runtime:
100% (505 lumens): 120 mins
50% (202 lumens): 5 hrs
10% (50 lumens): 30 hrs

They have a habit of putting out stats like 900lms at 120 mins.

So probably somewhere between 1.25A-1.5A which is reasonable for a tube light.

Not bad. Not really driven that hard though either. Wouldn’t mind knowing the price but I bet its close to eagletac d25 money.

Nice. Hope it is priced well.

I like well executed combo twist/clicky UI’s where there is an easily available HI at all times (tighten head) and this one sounds good… though the description about memory is not crystal clear.

Great looking pocket clip & tailcap  me likey ~

Yo yo yo, we have a new SF flashlight here :stuck_out_tongue:
Nice design, but… 100-50-10? C’mon, SF, do you ever read our forum?
Dang, thought it was fully variable magnetic ring :frowning: Looks good anyway.

What would you prefer? 5/30/100?

Looks like someone took random parts from different lights and put them together…

yup, not more than 5 and 30%.

agreed

Not a fan of the 2 tone lights.

Fair enough. I would be for that too.

I sorta see what you mean, but I don’t mind two tone or the looks of this one. Not the prettiest, but could be worse.

Love the look of this light, everything about it is perfect…except the two tone head. If they sell it all black I’ll get one, or if the tailcap fits p60 hosts ill get one, if not I’ll be passing.

I’d like to see a side switch on a new light they come out with, or a rcr123 version of this all in black.

I do see the advantage of the ss head for dropping and wear of the pocket, to me it just looks ugly.

Even as black only this thing would look like leftovers from different other lights.

I agree, that head doesn’t really fit the body
Black would have been better, and 100-50-10 is not the best choice.

They have a t2 out, same light runs off 2 aa’s

I think the dual tone look suits the T2 more than the T1. It would be Epic if SolarForce would come out with 18650 and 2AA models with infinitely variable output via magnetic ring.

I’m looking forward to getting more info and price on the t2…anyone know an expected release date?

The weight is surprisingly low, which is a good thing for me as long as they do the pill and heat path well. Other than that and a few extra lumens, I don't see the advantages over a Niteye TF20.

My guess is the 1st april, they released the S1100 on the 1st of march so maybe it’s a first day of the month thing. I’m looking forward to seeing more of it.

It’s arrived, $29:
