Update: The replacement switch arrived in the mail yesterday and not only is it an improvement in terms of reliability (it looks to be identical to the Trustfire X9 switch which means it can be taken apart to clean) but they also sent me a tail-cap to go with it!
I have flicked them a email thanking them for their awesome customer and asked them for a Paypal account to deposit the money into, also lined up some business for them.
In my opinion, thats simply amazing business practice. I personally cant believe they would have even replaced it after 6 months without wanting the old one back, and then to go ahead and waive the shipping? no matter what the usage in hours (most of my flashlights get less than 1 hour real usage per month[and in actually writing that out - makes me question why I have so many?]) I mean, no other flashlight company in the world would do that, im pretty sure. Even top notch US dealers would probably make you pay for shipping if their product was under warranty.
This makes me want to just buy something from solarforce-sales for no reason. :~
