Has anyone had any issues with solarforceflashlight-sales recently? About three weeks ago I ordered an L2P and dropin, about a day after I got an email with tracking info, all good.
Last weekend I decided I wanted to make a flashlight for my brother for christmas so bought an L2M from them. I still haven’t had any shipping news from them and when I emailed them to ask on wednesday got no reply… I really want it to come well before christmas so I can get to work on it (going to turn a custom pill) but I don’t know whether they’ve sent it. I could order another but don’t want to if it actually has been sent. Also they have the best prices it seems, everyone else wants quite a bit more I’ve found.
Has anyone else not received shipping info from them or gets no reply?
Placed an order about 2 odd weeks ago, and it came pretty quickly, but I didn’t get any shipping info from them. I’ve bought from the around a dozen times and had no problems.
Around a year ago had a similiar problem—I think it was closer to the end of the year though—When you want Solar Force stuff fast use customlites.com they are a couple dollars more but ship quickly
I’ve always had the fastest shipping of ANY chineese company from them as their standard option, my last order came in 4 actual days (counting a weekend). I’m sure it’ll show up if it went threw (you did verify it went threw on paypal didnt you?).
Even if it didnt and you have to re submit it now I’m more than confident it’ll get toyou in time.
4 months ago with a L2 T and a pressure switch that failed right out of box and Jo never responded untill I filed a paypal dispute once Jo heard they did straighten every thing out , but I never had problems before then or since in a year and half of over 3 dozen L2 HOSTS.
I had $300 worth of parts delivered in one of those envelopes, they look just like the ones used for internal mail on large chemical plants or steelworks.
They must be tough - I’ve never had a problem with them yet.
I’ve put through about a dozen orders and 11 of them were flawless. Delivery from Hong Kong to East Coast USA in 8 days or less each time. Takes 4 days to get to NYC and then 4 days from NYC to me. The only time I had a problem it was 6 days after receiving the shipping info and the Hong Kong Post still had no tracking info. I wrote Jo and asked for help and a day later received a reply that all was well and a day after that the Hong Kong post started to show tracking.
I suspect that the tracking/shipping info is an automated response once payment is confirmed which put the order in line but not actually shipped at that moment. Then they fill the order and ship it out. So if you have shown payment was accepted by SalesForce and no shipping data was received by you there is a problem. If you received the shipping info but no tracking has started it might mean they are behind in their shipping, more orders than they can ship, or they are back ordered on a part. In any event Jo should be replying shortly. They are very good in their customer service. Good luck.
Thanks for the reassurances guys. It’s all good now too - maybe it’s just coincidence but about 12hours after I started this thread they replied to my email!

Almost all my orders have issues but Jo is quick to come out with solutions. However, I cannot afford for such problems or delay at mine end. I am staying away from this brand for good.
Just curious, what kinds of issues do you have on orders? Is it a payment problem? I use paypal for all orders and so the payments get to them quickly without problem so my orders process quickly. Also, are you buying the “hot” item? They may be having a problem keeping up with demand for some items.
I must have been unlucky with SF-sales this year, every order has taken over 2 months to turn up and all the wrong colours arrived up in the last order.
I’d wait almost a month, then I’d email Jo who promised to sort it out and eventually 3-4 weeks later the order would turn up. So at least they got sorted out.
With the last order I waited 3 and a bit weeks and was ready to email when the order turned up. The grey L2N ordered turned out to be a black one, and I’m told this latest batch black and grey are almost the same, ok, not too bothered, will find another grey host for the little project i had in mind. The black L2N will still come in handy. The Green P1 ordered came as black and after a month of emails a green replacement turns up, so almost all worked out in the end.
The green P1 turns out not to match up with what I had intended anyway so going to have to order a brown P1 to see what that looks like for the project I have half completed.
Anyone got any pictures of a green and brown P1 next to each other? would help me decide if it’s worth the order and another 4-8 week wait! I’ve never been lucky enough for the 1-2 weeks delivery that a lot of people mention.
