Hi Ric, nice flashlight.
Lumens & runtime with 14500?
Just as a heads up Ric, I assume its meant to say Solarst or m, not Solarst ro m. Its the same on the website too. Might make a search difficult with the typo.
How do you get to the 900 lumens part? I only see 190…
Ric;
I’ve been looking at this light for a couple of days. Seems like it would be perfect for me since I don’t have any AA / 14500 lights.
I see on your site this light listed at $15 for 50 pieces or more. Any chance of a group buy?

Looks almost identical to the New Design Portable 800Lm UNITED PALIGHT EDC X4 L2 that i have on order $23.59 from here:
Here.
Only visible difference i can see is that the EDC X4 has cooling ribs around the blue button section of the body whereas the SC01 has none.
Of course they advertise 900 lumens vs 800 for the EDC X4 but i always take Chinese lumen ratings with a grain of salt anyway.

Looks like a Olight S15 to me without the multiple AA option.

There is a high possibility there will be a group buy soon for this light but not at $15 because that price include shipping 50 pieces to one address…
Sounds good to me. A few bucks more I can live with. Specially if it comes with a holster.
somehow I doubt it very much that this light will pump out 900 lumens on AA battery
nevertheless… if it’s on group buy for $10… i might get one

Think they are trying to say ramping...

Looks so nice!
But, Solarstorm officer told me that SC01 PWM is 120hz.
I guess it looks a little bit slow…
$24 for the NW isn’t too bad. It would be nice to know how bright it is but then again it’s a little light and not really meant to be a monster. I’m thinking the 190 lumens listed on the site is more accurate. It’s not going to be a boost driver with the ramping feature. Maybe 190 with the AA and 500 with the 14500?
Nice looking light, the palight one also. Like the aa side switch.
I’d be in for a group buy!
If group buy sub $20 (target of $15) I would get one
No way an AA is going to push 800 lumens…not stock anyway

I just bought an SC01 and SC02 together for $29.61 from Fasttech with the BLF code. They look interesting! The SC01 separate with discount is $14.41 so that put it into “must buy” status for me. If I like it, then it might be my go-to gift light.
