I was one of the most seasoned custome flashlight builder on CPF a few years back. This was one of the brightest flashlight I ever build, 15 amp of initial current draw, which is crazy.
The cost was very high. Paid about 250 for the FM3V head & Elephant body as host alone. $75 for the high amp electronic diver switch built for Hotwire incans, $90 for the most power dedomed led CBT-90 plus 30 for the massive copper heat sink, Rare 6xAA serial Elephant battery carrier, 3” SMO reflector etc, The cost of material alone went above $500 for this project.
The result was crazy over 4000 lumen, over 160,000 lux of throw, 15 amp initial amp draw. It’s a beast with throw & beam coverage not one of those pin point thrower.

Must use 6xAA eneloop 2000 from single lot, the 5mega battery carrier is difficult to match battery height as there’s no springs. Battery must be perfect match in size and tight to fire it up.
