Hi guys, I’m selling my BLF A6 which I made into a triple Nichia 219C using RMM’s aluminum spacer and Carlo 10507 optic. The driver is the stock BLF FET+1 driver with Toykeeper’s firmware.
The spring was bypassed on the driver, and the switch spring was bypassed (directly to the switch bypassing the trace like Dale does). I added a GITD o-ring in front of the lens so it should now be waterproof. I filed down the annoying “ears” of the deep carry pocket clip.
Tailcap readings are 10+ amps with a 25R (my dmm can not read past 10 amps). I will also take a reading using a run-in-the-mill Sanyo laptop pull and report back. IIRC, I believe it was 6.2 amps.
$60 USD + actual shipping.
I will take pictures of the spacer/Noctigon Nichia 219C later and post them here.
Thanks Bugsy. I was thinking about using a cooper one but since there’s no pill to solder to, I just went with the aluminum spacer. It seems to transfer heat just as well as my S2+ triple with the copper spacer though.
