I am selling this light because I originally purchased it to modify it, however, I ended up wussing out and now it is just a dust collector. This light does not have any branding on it. When I received it, one of the two gaskets at the bottom of the tailcap threads was crushed and had to be removed. So it is missing one of the two gaskets. Other than that, and a small machining blemish on the side of the battery tube, this light is in like new condition. Sadly, it has not seen any use past some patio/field near the house testing. It is a major thrower and a cool light, but it just sees no use at all. I’m sure somebody else here will appreciate it more than I do. My loss is your gain. I completely disassembled the light, cleaned all of the threads to the absolute best of my ability, and lubed them all with Super Lube silicone dielectric grease.

Disclaimer: The battery tube on the X6 is somewhat short and very long, protected cells like the Panasonic NCR18650B 3400 mAh’s will not fit this light. Protected Trustfire flames fit with no problems. I purchased a set of protected Sanyo UR18650FM cells from Fasttech and they fit, but when I screwed down the tail cap all the way, it pushed in the bottoms of the protection circuits, due to the pressure put on them by the strong tail cap spring. This is more of a failing on Fasttech’s part because they use thin, dimpled metal as the negative contact for their protection circuits and a higher quality solid protection circuit, such as the ones companies like Redilast use, would not have been pushed in. It was recommended to me to cut down the tail cap spring in order to fit longer cells, but I once again chickened out and left the spring alone.

$75 shipped via USPS first class to CONUS. Paypal only.

Here are pictures of the light, including the whole light, a picture of the reflector/emitter, and a picture of the missing gasket. The blemish on the side of the battery tube can also be seen in the last picture.
