It’s a fantastic twist to zoom aspheric. It’s only been used for a total of 5 minutes to test the light and it runs on two 18650s or 26650s.

Swapped out the stock emitter for a de-domed XM-L2 U3 1A on a Noctigon.
Added two R150 resistors to the driver and it draws 3.6A at the tail.
Usual spring mods done to lower resistance.

I second that……that still leaves plenty of room for another 5A driver or more.

Maybe 3,6A at the tailcap with 2 18650,ore ?

Good catch…. If its 3.6a at tailcap off 8.4V input then that emitter is in fact at its max.
