I’ll do this tonight, is this the right thread? Maybe the stock GT mini thread… I will say this, it’s pencil thin, punches out 900 feet pretty good… I am going to compare it to my Lambda VPT 2.0 tonight…
I think that one is 200kcd/2000 lumen? this is … 300kcd, about 900 lumen?

I took pics, they sucked. suffice to say, the beam is tight and punches out far. I re checked google earth , and it says my target store is 1200 feet.

The Vinh light puts a nice circle on the wall with almost no spill…
The Varapower puts a much bigger circle on the wall, about the same brightness with some spill…
The GT70 well… you know, it lights up the wall and everything else…!

all in all, without a stock gt min to compare, I am not giving up this little vinh hot rod ! most impressed for it’s size

The beam from the black flat in my T21 always makes me giggle. You should keep it, a flashoholic gotta have at least one black flat thrower in their collection.

I haven’t run it for long…but in maybe 5 minutes, doesn’t seem like it.
Tonight I will tailstand it outside and report back.

It does put out an impressive beam.for quite a distance…and I was wrong, not 900+ lumen…more like 650

Well 16 minutes in the house, tailstanding…fairly warm, but I would hesitate to call it hot…I would say the head is 110F
Edit2 Close, 118F

30 minutes, 113F Battery at 3.81v

Appears to have throttled back…I hit the switch and the output bumped…
So it seems it throttles back when external head temp hits 122-123F I have a lot of time on my hands

Confirmed, I get 1200ft for this tiny beast as well, very impressive. Someone else is selling one on the forums right now.

thing is, light goes on forever… Hard for me to say it’s range… but at 1200 feet it looks more than enough light to say it’s useful.

It is definitely a throwing beast but its significantly larger than the micro.
