SOLD...WTS- X75+3 B. Packs.FINAL Price Drop $303

Bump

The light works fine. No scratches on the light including the lens which is fine no black spots on the emitters, the light has never been dropped.
If you want it please PM me your address and I’ll give you my email address for paypal. Thanks

Sounds good, PM sent.

Lught Sold.

PayPal sucks! Haven’t used in a year. This is new.

They charge you a fee obviously and then they charge $5 to send it to your checking account. There’s 15 total cost from PayPal and $22 for medium flat rate box USPS Priority mail. $37! Grand total for me $266!

It is what it is!

SOLD!!

Do you have a checking account linked? I just sent a $10 balance from my Paypal wallet to my bank account and there was no fee. There is a fee for the normal payment system though, that supports buyer protection–it’s just the transfer charge I find odd

Yes I have a checking account linked. How else would I be able to send money to my bank? It’s a possibility I picked the immediate transfer. I looked for the other option and didn’t see it.

Apparently they have other methods available like using an eligible Visa or Mastercard Debit Card. For me immediate transfer would have been less than a dollar but maybe it’s a percentage I didn’t look that closely unfortunately.

Final post.
First is I’ve noticed for a while I’m a terrible terrible salesman. Glad I sold the light but it’s a disaster because of this. Financially that is! The light was $450 brand new battery pack was $180 that’s $630 .

Ok. It’s 10 months old, a good salesman wouldn’t do this but let’s knock off $200. That’s $430. I sold it for $303.

Not done yet.
You cannot send lithium batteries priority mail. It has to be ground advantage. Priority Mail was $22. I had to Pay $36 F’ing dollars to send this light plus the PayPal cost($9) so subtract $45 from $303 and my net profit is $258!

I told myself 14 years ago never get a light with a proprietary battery pack and I did!

So I have no one to blame but myself

and I will never ever ever get a light with a proprietary battery pack. The gentleman who got this light got a deal of the decade at least. He’s got three battery packs he won’t have to buy one for a while.

So that’s my little rant. The woman at the post office couldn’t tell me why ground is more money than priority mail? One and a half times more.
Live and learn

I think you mean proprietary. :slightly_smiling_face:

You’re right. Voice activation screw up that I missed. But that was far from the most important thing in my message. Have a good day

Light was shipped quickly and was packed well. It arrived in good condition as described, with all parts and accessories in working order.

Parts were carefully labeled to help explain everything to me as the next owner of the light. Thank you for the excellent sale 3rdGen33!

Priority mail can be shipped by ground or air. Obviously, li-ion batteries are tightly regulated for air travel shipping. I can’t say for sure why it’s cheaper than ground only since UPS and FedEx both charge way more for express/air or ground.

Plus, selling an expensive flashlight like a X75, MS32, SR32, etc is guaranteed to never get your initial investment back unless it’s a special one that people really want (eg collectable and rare), so it’s a tough sell for ‘cheap.’ Like a classic car you sink $60,000 into restoring is worth maybe $40,000 private party. Ouch.

^^^

Lady at the post office said that lithium ion batteries cannot be traveled through the air. They must be USPS ground advantage. Cost of ground Advantage is determined by weight and distance. I’ve had packages cost more by ground advantage than they did with Priority Mail. Significantly more. Like $36 compared to $21. That was the x75.

9.7 lb! Three battery packs plus the light!

I Forgot one other important fact about this they have questions and you have to answer them honestly. Something like you have anything flammable , lithium ion batteries Etc So if you lie and a plane blows up or something happens you’re liable!
