I wanted to contribute some beamshots to the forum, but unfortunately it seems impossible to get useful results with an old compact digica that can not change stuff like ISO etc properly.
Anyway, here are the pics. And yes, I DID label them correctly. My camera makes bright pictures look darker then the low-mode pics…
These are the best pics because they are closest to what you see in reality. The zoomed out isn´t very accurate, though. It does not show the typical led pattern.

The actual beam is slightly green and fades to blue/violet.

It´s the well known 3 mode Manafont dropin. Actually, I don´t like it. its very ringy.

The beam is VERY nice. It´s my favourite so far. Though the outer spill is also very blue.
The ALXM dropin is the only one without PWM, not matter what mode you´re running it

I cut some textured foil from an old soft CD case and put it in front of the lens. The beam is 100% linear, veeeery smooth.

Anyway, to give you at least some useful information:
- the small 7 inch tripod from fasttech isn´t very good. It´s too wobbly.
- the universal clamp from fasttech is awesome!
- the ALXM dropin is the only one without PWM, not matter what mode you´re running it
