Just wanted to reach out to some of the unlucky Australian modders out there. As many of us know the pain of buying flashlight parts for modding, and then suddenly realizing that the postage costs are usually equal to or even more than the parts for the build!! this does make the hobby a little less fun. Surely there has got to be someone that makes or stocks parts in Australia so we can avoid these over inflated postage costs. I gotta say i wish i lived in the US when it comes to building flashlights……its just so cheap without international postage. So if anyone can shed some light on how to obtain flashlight related parts at a good postage cost let me know. Thanks

i would also like to know, most of my modding stuff has come from mountain electronics, at the moment i need a driver for a busted convoy L6 but i will wait until i need a few items to make postage worth it. i have got some things like lighted tail switch and convoy C8 to mod from banggood or gearbest.

haha…i was referring to mountain electronics also but didnt want to give them a bad rep but they do make/have good products but their postage is just wayyyy to high. it may not be necessarily their fault but it makes buying from them almost not worth the effort especially when a driver is $11 and postage is $14!!

Postage cost is strange thing.
I can send up to 100g worldwide for 5$ (US , Australia, Brasil , China, EU…everywere) by EMS.
But if I want to order from US it costs ~50$ for DHL, FEdex, UPS…And even if I try to use them they not work with individuals in Russia.
This is realy not fair

i have also used some of led4powers drivers and they have also been reasonable on price.
