Source for cheap XP DTP Copper MCPCB? No more from Simon :(

I didn’t know where to post this question. I remember discussing it somewhere but I’ve been looking for an hour and a half now so I’ll just post here. I hate started a new thread every time I have a question, but…

So now that simons AliExpress store does not sell dtp mcpcbs, is there another place to get these cheep. I was bummed to see they were no longer offered. I put in an order but received the wrong thing and then the new year came and I could not reorder. I’m looking specifically for 10, 16, or 20mm xp sized direct thermal path copper mcpcbs. If anyone has a source, please share a link:)

This is the best I have found thus far. The price is not bad, but simons price was sub$1.

It’s not sub $1, but Kaidomain has them for a reasonable price. 16mm are 2/$2.98 and 20mm are 2/$3.49. Other configs also available.

Thanks gchart. That’s not bad but I’m hoping for closer to $1 a piece. I need to order 50-60 pieces so the cost will add up quick.

I have ordered from Shenzhen OT-LED Technology Co.,Ltd aliexpress store before and what I received were copper MCPCB but not DTP.

This listing has the same pictures as the old but way better rating so they might be delivering DTP now - I would be careful.

Contact kaidomain or BanL (kd rep) here in the forum . For 60pcs i’m sure he will get you a very nice price for those DTP boards…

My post was intended as a warning. It’s the same seller you have linked in your first post. They were advertised as DTP. What I received were copper boards with a dielectric layer.

if you guys all decided…

1) these are DTP
2) they are the right item
3) there is an established. ongoing, demand for the item, if even periodically
4) is not just 1 or 2 people want a few

then? i would order them in bulk and “stock” them…

i already need them in xp-size, as i already stock the xpg1 emitters….

i could probably meet or beat simons price… if someone told me what that was…

lord forbid i make a profit and you guys get your product cheaper than anywhere, even in smaller orders…

BUT… this only takes care of “yourself”… we have an entire community to feed…

why cant we “all” benefit somehow? without gouging the little guys that only need 5 or 10?

I bought the last of SinkPAD’s original 20mm XM class board for $1 apiece, bought 200 of them. I have quite a few left actually. I don’t have XP class though or 16mm.
