Source for momentary switch assembly (SRK style)

Does anybody know where I can find the threaded switch assembly like ones on an SRK? I have a few projects that these would be nice to have for.

Don’t we all brother.

Calling RollinngStone, he had been talking with a contact of his at the supfire factory about sourcing those but not sure where that ever ended up, maybe he can start it back up if there’s enough interest.

I can’t believe with all the SRK clones out there that these can be very hard to source. That is if you are somebody good (read “with enough patience”) at talking with Chinese suppliers/manufacturers. I’m thinking RMM or Hank would be good for this. These would be awesome for retrofitting so many lights with an e-switch. Especially the massive switch killers and toilet plungers.

We’ll have to get a group but going on whatever size tap to thread the hole.

Could the tripod mount on the M6 be replaced with a second switch? If so, I'd like to build one with a swapped reflector with at least 4 emitters so I give up nothing, but have a new reflector for a red or green emitter and a driver that can give it a range of modes too. Or maybe even a color XM-L.

The button/bezel is the easy part. The hard part is threading such a shallow blind hole (it's effectively blind, since the tap cannot pass completely through) in the body.

Yes, direct fit.

These aren’t any standard size I’m aware of… It’s like a 1/2”–24, but with really shallow threads.

But the thread fit is so poor I think there’s a chance some standard thread may actually fit.

Some of them have really sloppy fit and are prone to crossthreading, on these the bezel is mis-machined undersize. A switch bezel from a better light fits the threaded hole correctly. My measurements were taken from a 'good' one.
