Spare camera battery?

I need to get a spare battery for my Canon S95. I read a lot of reviews and decided it was best to spend a bit more and buy a Canon NB-6L instead of a cheaper but lower capacity battery such as Energizer or Duracell.

Then I checked FastTech and they have a cheap 1100mAh NB-6L but wanted to see what others thought. Is this too good to be true? :~

I only found a few reviews of the Goop/Godp battery:

I have a NB-6L in my Canon camera. I bought a Duracell spare in a blister pack at a closeout price. Imagine my surprise when it was too big to fit into the camera.

I get good battery life on the Canon battery for a day of shooting and movies, and have not had the need to return to the wilds of sourcing a spare.

Obviously you can't go wrong with a OEM Canon battery (assuming it's real). The peace of mind may be worth the extra cost. It has been said that you get what you pay for. We here at the BLF are wont to push the envelope. And it can be pushed.

That said, the Godp seems to have good reviews at DX. Hopefully it won't go BOOM in your camera.

Expect 80% capacity at 30% the price. Seems like a good deal to me!
