Has anyone pulled these apart before?
I am pretty much done with P60 drop ins and want to take the leds and driver from this and stuff it in a Convoy S2 light. is it doable? how do i take this apart?
Yes, i will need a spacer for the S series triple build (not a issue)
I hate that fly running around my iPad screen. I have tried to kill it more times than I ever will admit J) Sorry for beeing off topic!

Why not sell it and use the money to buy the proper parts you need.
Not a bad idea, as I have some pretty nice drop ins from sportac and custom built ones I did

Why not keep it—take it apart —toss that driver—put a triple xp-l on copper with a fet in it—it works great and handles heat 10 times better than a S2—then you can use the xp-g2 triple on aluminum that’s in it with a 18350/S2+ it will handle 4.4 amps from a qlite— I have done several of these with results in the 9.5 to 10 amp range with turbo runtime around 3 minutes
If I could figure out what to use I'd take this drop in apart and replace it with a qlite but I am unsure of Max amps.
