Spot the error

I recently won this flashlight from LightsCastle.

It came in the mail today, and it's actually pretty decent.

(Thanks, LightsCastle!)

Below is a snippet from a private message I sent them...

...and next up is a photo of the package they sent me.

Can you spot the error? :)

For those of you that don't get it, raccoon city is a fictional United States city and no one really lives there. ;)

LOL

also 2000 lumen

Well they didn’t adress it to Milla Jovovich, there is that.

welllllllll

you still got the package, right?

i can tell you why, i think.

i HONESTLY dont know why we even bother to have a “town name” in our address, anyways… after all, there are something like 8 or 12 “pittsburgh’s” in america… its the ZIP CODE that defines which town it actually goes to anyways… then the street address (street number and street name) take over (or box/route number… whichever)

its redundant, and the zip code is what really matters.

(plus its a cute story)

Props for the US Postal service, they delivered

Nice new signature, DanielM!

Every day is a new opportunity for a new signature on this fine forum

Hell no, I thought you lived in a suburb in the larger Grizzly Bay area.

Raccoon city did exist, before the zombie outbreak

Raccoon city lives. Yay. Zombies beware. The Raccoons there have Zombie killing rabbies.

John has a club over here in Melbourne as well.

Good job LightsCastle!

Your name is Raccoon City, that must be where you live. :~
You should use your zip+4. They could screw up the state, town, street and it would still get to your door.

Well….

YOU live there!!

And you’re the smartest racoon I know!

Hi,
We are really sorry for this falut.
One of our colleague write wrong address info.
It is very luck that you get it finally.
Best regards,

aha, they put your BLF ID on the address as city name.

Edit: BTY, clever postman.

We have people from all over the world on this forum. Many languages. We enjoy the conversation with others. If an English speaking person tried to send a package to China, I can imagine it will never arrive! Your package did arrive.

Don't worry about it.

The package got to me, safe and sound.

In addition, from my point of view, the mistake was hilarious. :D
